It's been about four months since I last posted, and i must say, a lot has happened since then!
After turning 19, Coles promoted me to assistant manager, so i started working full time (40 hours a week). That was pretty intense, and I rarely had any time to see my friends or have some quality ME time.
I looked for other jobs online and came across 'seeklearking' and applied to do a Bachelor of Communications with Open university (online uni). Days later, I got a phone call from a guidance counselor and before i knew it, I had enrolled and am now in my first month of study.
It's going pretty well, I have my lazy days here and then and am embarrassingly behind on my reading.. but i'm up to date on my assignments which I'm proud of!
I got results back from my first ever assessment task (4.5 out of 5 which i believe calculates to something like 86% - i'm content with that).
Currently I am working on the last reading review of the assignment.. it's taken me 2 hours to sit down and actually start it.. ill get there, hopefully before its due (which is in 4 hours).
Oh and last week I got offered a position with Liquorland, so i'm leaving coles.
Basically, it's better pay, less hours, closer to home = save more money for my bloody car registration.
Anyway, enough rambling, I'll surely be back in a few days.
